A client in Greensborough recently purchased a property for the purpose of erecting two units on the land. Our client discovered that a boundary fence had been erected inside the property for the benefit of the adjoining property. This caused considerable problems for the developer wishing to erect the units on this site.

The lesson here is to engage a Land Surveyor prior to purchasing a property.

It is a crucial step prior to the commencement of any construction work that a survey of the land be carried out to mark the boundaries on the site as this will determine any discrepancies or encroachments on the property.

This will ensure that your construction works will comply with building regulations and there are no nasty surprises waiting for you.
